Last fall Damaris, Angus and I explored MacTaggart Sanctuary. It’s one of my favourite secluded Edmonton engagement session locations. BUT the fall is tricky! Most days in September, the parking lot next the Sanctuary is filled to the brim with cars. It’s a popular spot for family portraits when the gorgeous leaves are all out. Gaining access to a prime spot turns into a battlefield. That doesn’t sound pleasant right?
Not at all! So in this madness, how do we find secluded spots for engagement photos? My trick is to take couples a bit deeper into the hidden Edmonton woodlands. That’s how we find gorgeous secluded spots like these for engagement sessions.
Hi, my name is Janelle, I’m an photographer hailing from Edmonton Alberta. Life is good if I can spend my time traveling to breathtaking destinations that inspire and make my heart feel lighter. If I can go there with an adventurous couple, that’s the making of an awesome story and touching images. I LOVE to travel and share my experiences with the world. I value authenticity and touching moments over a big production.
I love secluded Edmonton engagement sessions like this because they really give couples the chance to connect with me. This is so important when preparing for our next big shoot, which is probably your wedding day!
