I waited too long after my visit to Toronto to post this session. Now Veronica and Arlan are cat parents. Looks like I need to go back to Toronto for a session with their adopted darling Pomelo.

Sometimes you meet clients and then you become friends. That’s what happened with Veronica and Arlan. I first met Veronica and Arlan in 2017 when they started their wedding plans. Three years later we still connect over the interwebs to share tv series recommendations, cute Shiba Inu photos and anything cat related. The last time I was in Toronto I snuck in a visit. They guided me through their favourite spots in downtown Toronto and we snuck as close as we could get to the Distillery District as we could get without a permit 🙂 We toured their favourite chocolate shop SOMA Chocolatemaker before Arlan had to go perform (he’s an intense violinist, like PhD. in violin violinist).

Hi, my name is Janelle, I’m a photographer hailing from Edmonton Alberta. I’m all about three things: celebration, connection and client education. My style is relaxed and romantic. I love intimate weddings, the kind where I get to know your family and friends. I thrive when meeting new people. My favourite moment of every wedding is right after the ceremony. This is when your friends and family smother or possibly crush you with either love or cheerful embrace. Bring on all the candid moments.

I value connection and celebration of moments over a big production.
