What I loved most about Karlee and Grant’s wedding is that they made a large gathering, with friends and family from near and far, feel so intimate. The setting was perfect. Close friends oversaw the ceremony. They included everything that was most important to them.
And it was the ultimate party. The rowdy crowd – you know who you are – showed everyone how it is done in New Jersey. And you know it’s going to be a fun night when the bride and her father dance barefoot and guests continue to party in the pouring rain. When I asked Karlee and Grant to run out into the stormy night for photos they didn’t hesitate. Armed with two umbrellas, a borrowed lighter, and some sparklers we left the party. Fighting both the wind and rain Grant lit the sparklers and Tat and I stepped back and let the magic happen. The way that these two look at each other in every image says it all.
